Most reports included with Crime Insight Reporting present data only from accepted incidents that included no errors, but there are situations where the Single Incident Viewer will present different data than other reports. The Single Incident Viewer will always show the most recent version of an incident that was submitted.

This means potentially displaying errors even though the latest version of the incident has not been accepted into the system, and will not be reflected in other reports based on cube microdata. If a previously submitted version of the incident was accepted with no errors, the Single Incident Viewer report will include the message:

Reporting and Analysis will be done on the accepted version of the incident rather than the one being shown.

Clicking the Incident Lifecycle button will open that report, summarizing all submissions for the incident, useful for identifying when and how the differences were introduced in the system.

Please note that this only applies to errors. Incidents with warnings are still included in reports.
