Beyond 20/20

Some users have reported that they get this error when trying to follow Example 2 in the Integrator's Builder User Guide:

“The Builder failed with error code: 5593

Unable to open file “C:…BENEFITS.IVT” in read-write mode.”

Reason 1 - File is Located In A Restricted Folder

This can happen when the Beyond 20/20 Publisher's Edition is installed to the default path of C:\Program Files (x86)\Beyond 2020\Publisher's Edition. Users do not usually have write access to this folder and its subfolders.

To get around this problem, copy the examples to a location where you have modify access and run the Integrator's Builder there.

Reason 2 - File is Locked

When using the Integrator's Builder to update other tables, if you have modify permission on the IVT file and the file is not marked Read-only in Windows:
